My name is Emmanuel Sogolera and I played two roles: the Foreign Merchant to whom Angelo owes money and Dr. Pinch, a crazy schoolmaster. For all the roles, I had to sit down with my fellow actors to work on our non-verbal conversations and stage movements and through that I improved my friendship with the actors I shared the scenes with. They also improved my team spirit. I found out there are more careers connected to the theatre other than just acting – thanks to Cape Town. Off the theatre, Cape Town preserves its culture with so many traditional dances in their market places. It was an awesome experience. What a magnificent city!
