The Return of the Face-to-Face Festival
The Sixth Festival - 2023
In 2023 we had intended to take the Festival to Kungoni Centre of Culture & Art, Mua Mission, Dedza district, on Saturday, 13th May.
We were defeated by the national fuel shortage. However, many thanks to the nine schools and institutions that prepared videos of their productions. They represent Dedza, Kasungu and Salima districts, and Lilongwe.
On Saturday, 10th June we celebrated a smaller face-to-face Festival at Kamuzu Academy (with three schools) and on Tuesday, 27th June we invited one school to bring its production to the Opening Ceremony of the new Classroom Block at Kamutu Primary School, Kasungu district.
On Saturday, 2nd December we renewed our attempt at the first full post-Covid face-to-face Festival. All schools that contributed in May / June were cordially invited to Kamuzu Academy. In total nine schools and institutions (including some that were new to the Festival) participated.

This record of the 2023 Festival is incomplete. However, this webpage will be revised to reconstruct the whole Festival in due course. Presented now is a summary video of December's proceedings at Kamuzu Academy.
