The Sixth Festival - 2023
In 2023 we had intended to take the Festival to Kungoni Centre of Culture & Art, Mua Mission, Dedza district, on Saturday, 13th May.
We were defeated by the national fuel shortage. However, many thanks to the nine schools and institutions that prepared videos of their productions. They represent Dedza, Kasungu and Salima districts, and Lilongwe.
On Saturday, 10th June we celebrated a smaller face-to-face Festival at Kamuzu Academy (with three schools) and on Tuesday, 27th June we invited one school to bring its production to the Opening Ceremony of the new Classroom Block at Kamutu Primary School, Kasungu district.
On Saturday, 2nd December we will renew our attempt at the first full post-Covid face-to-face Festival (if fuel allows). All schools that contributed in May / June are cordially invited to Kamuzu Academy. A number of other schools and institutions has also expressed interest.
This webpage will be revised to record the whole 2023 Festival in due course.
