Introduction
Olga - a Swiss Marionette - makes Iron Sheets (a String Figure of Malawi).
The observation of Pumpkin Wheels and Pawpaw Flutes at Mua School for Deaf Children (Dedza District) has led to a substantial collection of children's games and entertainments from Malawi: played both at school and in the village.
Marionettes and string figures (cat's cradles) are of special interest. We present also a number of original works of origami that are inspired by Malawi.
Miss Alisoun Probert introduces The Games of Malawi with two articles (2018 and 2010).
Students at Maryam Girls Teacher Training College, Mangochi District, enjoy a game of Constellation.
The illustration was part of a display at the National Schools Science Fair / China Week, Kamuzu Academy, in July 2019.
